How long has Wolf's Sealcoating been in business?
We've been sealing driveways and parking lots since 1991 — that's over 35 years, two generations of family ownership, and more than 50,000 customers served. We're licensed, bonded, and based right here in Joliet, IL.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of Will County including Joliet, Lockport, New Lenox, Plainfield, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Shorewood, Channahon, Minooka, Mokena, Frankfort, Manhattan, Elwood, Crest Hill, Homer Glen, Lemont, and Wilmington.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — we're fully licensed and bonded. We carry liability insurance and have for over 35 years. Ask us for proof of insurance anytime.

How fast do I get a price?
We provide numbers right away, on the spot. No waiting days or weeks for a callback. Call us, text us, or fill out our online form and we'll get you a price fast — most homeowners get a number the same day.
How much does sealcoating cost?
Every driveway and lot is different — size, condition, and scope of work all factor in. That's why we give you a personalized number on the spot instead of a generic range. Call or fill out our form for your free estimate.
Do you offer free estimates?
Absolutely. Every estimate is free and comes with no pressure. We'll give you an honest price and let you decide on your own time.
Process & scheduling
Will you let me know before you come?
Always. We give you a heads up before coming out so you can move cars, prep the area, or let your tenants know. No surprise visits — ever.
How long until I can drive on it?
Depending on the job and weather conditions, you'll be able to drive on your freshly sealed surface within 24 to 72 hours. We'll tell you exactly when it's safe before we leave.
Do you work evenings or weekends?
Yes — we work evenings and weekends to fit around your schedule. Whether you're a homeowner who works during the day or a business that can't close during operating hours, we'll find a time that works. Your downtime is our work time.
Do I need to be home during the job?
Not necessarily — as long as the driveway is clear and we've communicated beforehand, we can handle the rest. We'll send you a heads up before arriving and let you know when we're done.
Sealcoating
Do you spray or hand-apply?
We hand-apply every job using brushes and squeegees. It gives a thicker, more even coat than spraying — and it lasts significantly longer. That's one of the biggest differences between Wolf's and other companies.
How often should I sealcoat my driveway?
Every 2–3 years is the general recommendation. Because we hand-apply, our sealcoat tends to last longer than spray applications. We'll let you know honestly when your driveway is due — we won't upsell you.
What's the best time of year to sealcoat?
Late spring through early fall — the sealer needs warm, dry conditions to cure properly. We typically run from April through October depending on the weather.
Commercial
Can you work around our business hours?
Absolutely — that's one of our specialties. We regularly do evening and weekend work for churches, schools, medical buildings, restaurants, and HOAs. Your downtime is our work time. We'll coordinate scheduling so your customers and staff are never disrupted.
Do you handle striping and ADA compliance?
Yes — we do full parking lot striping including handicap spaces, fire lanes, directional arrows, and custom stencils. All work meets ADA requirements.
Can you do everything in one visit?
In most cases, yes. We handle sealcoating, crack sealing, pothole repair, and striping — all with one crew. One call, one invoice, one trusted team.
